Parents

FOCUS Learning Academy is committed to providing continuous and effective communications with the parents of all students.

The Administration and teachers at FOCUS Learning Academy believe that parent communication is key to success.  FOCUS Learning Academy works hard to increase parent and student "buy in" by helping parents understand the critical nature of the teaching and learning that must take place.

Parents are encouraged "follow through" in working with students at home to support strong study and healthy learning habits.  Through monthly meetings parents are shown what students will be learning which helps enable parents to participate fully in the the education and development of each child.

FOCUS Learning Academy welcomes parent volunteers for school programs and activities including:

• Reading to Children
• Tutoring
• Administrative Support
• Field Trips
• Event Planning and Staffing
• Fund Raising

FOCUS Learning Academy encourages parents to provide feedback to teachers and the Administration regarding student progress and regarding all areas of the Academy's curriculum and operations.
